Catherine completed her undergraduate degree in Dentistry at the University of Sydney in 1984, and has worked in both private practice and the hospital system. She has been a specialist Prosthodontist for almost 30 years, graduating from the University of Sydney's specialist training program in 1996. Catherine became a Fellow of the prestigious Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons by examination in 1997 and was invited to examine for the college's Secondary examinations for several years. She has also served as a Clinical Tutor at the University of Sydney, in both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and as a mentor for the Implant Diploma Course for many years.
Catherine has been working at Dentistry@Castlereagh St for over ten years. She is interested in all areas of Prosthodontics, with a special focus on dentures, crowns, and implants, as well as those patients requiring complex restorative treatment. She also has experience in treating young people who are born with congenital defects of the dentition.
Catherine prefers a conservative approach to maintaining the dentition, which aligns with the philosophies of the other clinicians working at Sydney Periodontics and Implants. She has been seeing some of her patients for decades, keeping up her general dentistry skills. She is a member of numerous professional societies and has been awarded a Fellowship at the International College of Dentists and Pierre Fauchard Academy.
Her personal interests include tennis and snow sports.
