Michael’s professional career in dentistry began in 2005, graduating with Honours from the University of Sydney, School of Dentistry. In pursuing clinical excellence in implant and reconstructive dentistry, Michael travelled to the United States and spent a year under the tutelage of world-renowned surgeon Professor Peter Moy at UCLA, and received full-time clinical training in implant surgery.

Upon returning to Sydney, Michael spent a further 3 years in specialist training, finally obtaining a Clinical Doctorate in Prosthodontics, the highest professional qualification for a dental practitioner in the field of cosmetic, implant, and full-mouth reconstructive dentistry.

Michael regularly gives courses and presentations, teaching general dentists in implants and restorative procedures, speaking for the University of Sydney and industry-leading organisations such as the Straumann Group and Nobel Biocare.
